Chesterfield is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
Boundaries It includes most of the town of Chesterfield and neighbours the Bolsover and North East Derbyshire constituencies. History The constituency was long a Labour stronghold, but following Tony Benn stepping down, surprised many when it became the Liberal Democrats' first seat in the East Midlands.
