AuctionSHARK is a price comparison service. AuctionSHARK.com was founded in Castle Rock, Colorado in 2005 by Michael Zak, whose original idea was to develop tools for online auction buyers. This idea evolved into developing a new kind of shopping comparison website - one that would allow users to search and compare from online auctions and stores on one site.
AuctionSHARK launched its beta site in August of 2005, with th ability to search eBay Auctions & Stores, Overstock Auctions, Yahoo Auctions, and Amazon. AuctionSHARK.com was re-launched in September 2006 with a new site design and now searches over 100 million product listings across more that 5000 online stores, and top online auction websites.
