The Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) is currently under construction on Cerro Toco in Chile, and is scheduled to see first light in 2006. Its primary science goal is to map the cosmic microwave background anisotropy at resolutions higher than the WMAP experiment. See the official ACT webpage.
